All tests were performed with the graphcs card set to a resolution of 800 * 600 pixels, in 16-bit colour mode, and a refresh-rate of 75Hz.
The performance gained by Overclocking the card, was, all-in-all, less than exciting - as you can see from the figures above. This indicates that, for all intents & purpose, the processor of the Intel system was thouroghly saturated with data. In other words, the card may have taken advantage of the extra speed, but the processor couldn't keep up, thus, most of the gains by Overclocking the card were lost.

All tests were performed with the graphics card set to a resolution of 800 * 600 pixels, with a refresh-rate of 75Hz.
As you can see, the level of performance obtained by the card was very high, leaving everyone with no doubt that we're dealing with a truly fast card. We'd like to point out that the performance seen on the Athlon system is normally only possible on Pentium III 600Mhz or above system when using a GeForce 256 card equipped with DDR-SDRAM - all of which is considerably more expensive than the Xentor 32...
Conclusion
Thanks to our tests, we can point out some very interesting facts. First, we can observe that the performance of the Intel system was limited by the processor, and resulted in an early saturation of the graphic scores. Second, we can observe that an exact opposite situation with the Athlon system, wherein the graphics card reached its saturation point well before the processor itself. All that said, these results leave no doubt that the Guillemot Maxi Gamer Xentor 32 Ultra TNT2 is definetly an excellent graphics car, gifted with no less than prodigious speed when installed in a similarly powerful system
