The particularities (continued)

While they did decide to make use of the nVidia drivers, Gigabyte opted for their own Overclocking utility, which we show off below.



The only other difference with the nVidia drivers is a button that allows users to be transported to the Gigabyte web site, as you can see below. Also, the drivers used by Gigabyte are quite close to the reference version 368 that we've been using in all our GeForce 256 tests up to this point.



The software bundle

Other than the drivers, the installation CD includes a few utilities, such as Benchmark Final Reality, the PowerPlayer SE multimedia-player, the PowerDVD DVD-disc player, and Adobe Acrobat Reader. The disc also includes DirectX 7, and a few games: Populous (The beginning), Future Cop L.A.P.D., and SuperBike World Championship. A second CD contains Need For Speed III.
