Two-channel Serial ATA RAID controller
The RocketRAID 1520 is a two-channel RAID controller that supports RAID modes 0, 1, 0+1, and JBOD, as well as a wide variety of powerful software management features. This Serial ATA controller is capable of transferring data at 1.5GB/sec, and supports the majority of current operating systems, including Windows 9x/ME/NT4/2K/XP, Red Hat, SuSe, Turbo, and Caldera Linux, and FreeBSD.
Not only is the RocketRAID 1520 powerful, though, it's also affordable, and can as easily be adapted to the needs of home-users as those of an enterprise. It is ideal for backing-up data on small local-network information servers. The RocketRAID 1520 also comes complete with RocketHead 100 convertors to allow users to continue to implement older parallel IDE cables.
The RocketHead 100 convertor
Each RocketRAID 1520 card comes complete with two RocketHead 100 convertors. This allows users to attach not only Serial ATA drives, but also conventional ATA133 and ATA100 disks. These convertors are ideal for those without Serial ATA drives, or those who wish to do without using multiple drive controllers.
