Conclusions
In conclusion, hampered by an inhospitable environment, and a cache of only 256KB, the Intel Pentium III Coppermine 866MHz FC-PGA still manages to put on the incredible performance detailed above. There is no doubt in our minds, that this CPU represents a formidable investment that is well worth the money of power-hungry computer owners. What's more, it's not even truly necessary to replace your Slot 1 board to use this CPU, as it's quite possible to simply plug the CPU into a Slocket type 2 adaptor (autoregulated), plug the adaptor into your board, and let the bits fly!
