Additional features

Additional features of the Iwill XP333-R motherboard include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS2 connectors for connecting mice & keyboards, 4 USB ports - two of which are located on the back panel, an integrated AC"97 sound-card, RX/TX connectors for infrared, and start-up from the mouse, keyboard, or at a pre-set time. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and of voltages is also included as a standard feature of this PC99-compliant motherboard.

Also, let's not forget the integrated Highpoint HPT372 RAID controller, which supports ATA133, or the integrated C-Media CMI8738 sound-card.

Installation

Due to its design, the XP333-R requires the positioning of several jumpers prior to installation. In most cases though, the user's manual will prove more than informative, provided that its read carefully, and attentively.

Software bundle

The installation CD includes: patch version 1.04, drivers for the sound card, RAID drivers, Adobe Acrobat Reader, a digital rendition of the user's manual, McAfee Antivirus, and a hardware monitoring program.

Hardware bundle

The Iwill XP333-R comes with: two 80-pin ATA100 cables, one floppy-drive cable, and a pair of audio connectors for the rear panel - which includes an "out" for the central base line, and a speaker port.
