Additional features

Additional features of the Soltek SL-75DRV4 motherboard include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS2 connectors for connecting mice & keyboards, 4 USB ports - two of which are located on the back panel, an integrated AC"97 sound-card, Power Failure Resume, Suspend to RAM, RX/TX connectors for infrared, and start-up from the mouse, keyboard, or at a pre-set time. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and of voltages is also included as a standard feature of this PC99-compliant motherboard.

Installation

Considering the plethora of jumpers and switches spread throughout the SL-75DRV4's circuitry, it goes without saying that users should carefully consult the manual before installation, in order to avoid mistakes.

Software bundle

As always, Soltek has been very generous with its software bundle. Asides from the expected VIA 4-in-1 version 4.35v drivers, sound-card drivers, hardware monitoring utility, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and digital rendition of the user's manual, the board also includes a 2nd CD which includes, PC-cillin 2000, Virtual drive, Drive Image 4.0, and Partition Magic 6.0. A user manual accompanies all the included applications.

Hardware bundle

The Soltek SL-75DRV4 comes with: One 80-pin ATA100 cable, and a thermal sensor.
