Additional features

Additional features of the Asus A7V333 motherboard include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS2 connectors for connecting mice & keyboards, two USB 1.1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, Suspend to RAM, Suspend to Disk, RX/TX connectors for infrared, an SMbus connector, a Smart Card Reader connector, an SPDIF connector, and start-up from the mouse, keyboard, or at a pre-set time. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and of voltages is also included as a standard feature of this PC99-compliant motherboard.

Last but not least, the P4T533-C also comes complete with an integrated six-channel ALC650 sound-card, and a USB 2.0 controller.

Installation

Installation of the Asus P4T533-C is simple, if you avoid entagling yourself in all the jumpers and Dip switches. Simply put jumper JEN in the Jumperless postion, then place the board in a case, plug-in, boot-up, and drop into the BIOS to make any adjustments.

Software bundle

the installation CD includes the Intel 4.00.1009 patch, drivers for the USB 2.0 controller, drivers for the sound-card, drivers for the network controller, Adobe Acrobat Reader, a digital rendition of the user's manual, Asus PC Probe, a Windows-compatible hardware monitoring program, PC Cillin 2002, Asus Live Update V3.29.05, Asus Screen Saver, and Windbond Voice Editor.

Hardware bundle

The Asus P4T533-C comes with: one 80-pin ATA100 cable, one 40-pin ATA33 cable, a floppy-drive cable, a bracket for the rear panel with two USB ports and a joystick port, and face-plate that can be used to hide all the ports on the rear-panel.
