Technical details
Plenty of space has been left open around the CPU socket, which is typical of all P4 boards, especially considering the cooling required by these CPUs.
The memory slots are located far enough from the AGP port that there is little chance of a retention clip coming into contact with the graphics card.
The voltage regulation circuits are of the triple-phase variety, and are complemented by twenty-two 1500Mfds capacitors.
The power connectors are located on the East end of the board, and shouldn't interfere with the processor ventilation when everything's plugged-in.
The Northbridge is capped with a heatsink, but no fan.
Three fan connectors are included, and all of them are controlled by the hardware monitoring system.
Hardware monitoring is controlled by an Asus ASIC AS99127F circuit.
It's possible to manually assign IRQs.
The AGP port supports AGP Pro graphics cards.
