Additional features of the MSI KT3 Ultra ARU motherboard include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS2 connectors for connecting mice & keyboards, 2 USB ports located on the back panel and five others located on additional connectors, an integrated sound-card, Suspend to RAM, RX/TX connectors for infrared, and start-up from the mouse, keyboard, or at a pre-set time. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and of voltages is also included as a standard feature of this PC99-compliant motherboard.
The MSI KT3 Ultra ARU also includes a Promise PDC20276 ATA133 RAID controller, which supports modes 0, 1, and 0+1.

Installation
Installation of the MSI KT3 Ultra ARU is quite simple, thanks to the distinct absence of jumpers. Simply place the board in a case, plug-in, boot-up, and drop into the BIOS to make any adjustments
Software bundle
The installation CD includes the VIA 4.37v patches, drivers for the sound-card, drivers for the RAID controller, DirectX 8.0a, Adobe Acrobat Reader, a digital rendition of the user's manual, Trend PC-cillin 2000, MSI Live update series, Media Ring, Xteq, PC Alert III, Fuzy Logic III, and a number of other utilities that are too numerous to list.
Hardware bundle
The KT3 Ultra ARU comes with: two 80-pin ATA100 cables, a D-bracket, an S-bracket, and a 4-port USB connector - one of which is for Bluetooth communications.
