Technical details

The amount of space that has been left open around the CPU socket is average and it might interfere with the installation of the largest heatsinks.

Memory slots 1 and 2 ae located too close to the AGP port and these retention clips are coming into contact with the graphics card when installing memory.

Eight 2200mfd and three 1500mfd capacitors have been installed around the CPU socket.

The CPU socket locking lever is made of plastic, so handle with care.

The Northbridge is capped with a heatsink and fan.

Four fan connectors are included, but only two are controlled by the hardware monitoring system.

Hardware monitoring is controlled by a W83697HF circuit.

It's possible to manually assign IRQs.

Two USB 2.0 (480Mbps) ports are included.

A Promise PDC20276 RAID controller is present.

Audio capabilities are provided by a Realtek AL650 audio-chip.

BlueTooth connectors have been included.

A four-LED diagnostic panel is provided; it is mounted on a support which includes two USB ports, and is meant to be installed on the rear of a system.

Live BIOS, and Live Driver technology is supported, which allows users to update BIOS drivers directly over the Internet.

Fuzzy Logic 3 is included, which allows users to Overclock their systems without needing to restart their computers and drop into the BIOS.

And finally, the BIOS can be rolled-back to the last batch of valid settings by pressing "CTRL + Insert" at start-up.
