Additional features

Additional features of the Iwill KA266 motherboard include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS2 connectors for connecting mice & keyboards, 4 USB ports - two of which are located on the back panel, an integrated C-Media CMI-8738D AC"97 sound-card, RX/TX connectors for infrared, and start-up from the mouse, keyboard, or at a pre-set time. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and of voltages is also included as a standard feature of this PC99-compliant motherboard.

An integrated RAID controller is also available as an option.

Installation

Installation of the KA266 isn't too complicated. Simply verify that the jumpers are set as desired, slap it in a case, plug-in, and boot-up

The software bundle

The installation CD includes drivers for the ALI Magik chipset, drivers for the sound-card, a utility for monitoring the hardware under Windows, PC Cillin Antivirus, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a digital rendition of the user's manual.

The hardware bundle

The Iwill KA266 comes with: one 80-pin ATA66/100 cable, and one floppy-drive cable.
