Technical details

A fair amount of space has been left open around the CPU socket, which should allow for the installation of large heatsinks, but may be too snug for those that are truly monstrous in size.

The VT8366 Northbridge is capped with a heatsink without a fan.

The memory slots are located far enough from the AGP port that there is little chance of a retention bar coming into contact with the graphics card.

Thirteen 1200Mfds, and ten 330Mfds capacitors have been placed around the CPU socket.

The power regulation circuit is of the 3 phase variety.

The CPU retention bar is made of plastic, so handle with care.

Three fan connectors are included, but only two are controlled by the hardware monitoring system.

Hardware monitoring is controlled by the South bridge of the chipset.

DualBIOS and @BIOS functions are included.

It's possible to manually assign IRQs.

The integrated sound-card is based on the Creative CT5880.

The AGP port supports AGP Pro graphics cards.

The BIOS can be rolled-back to the last batch of valid settings by pressing "CTRL + Insert" at start-up.
