Additional features
Additional features of the EPoX 3SPA3 include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS2 connectors for connecting mice & keyboards, 4 USB ports - two of which are located on the back panel, an integrated AC"97 sound-card, Power Failure Recovery, Suspend to RAM, RX/TX connectors for infrared, and start-up from the mouse, keyboard, or at a pre-set time. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and of voltages is also included as a standard feature of this PC99-compliant motherboard.
The BIOS can also be flashed by pressing ALT+F2.

Installation
Installation of the EPoX 3SPA3 is almost ridiculously easy. Thanks to its jumperless design, users need only put it in a case, plug it in, and boot-up.
The software bundle
The installation CD includes the Intel version 2.6,001 patch, drivers for the sound-card, DirectX 8, Adobe Acrobat Reader, a digital rendition of the user's manual, and a few utilities including Norton AntiVirus.
The hardware bundle
The 3SPA3 comes with: one 80-pin ATA66/100 cable, one 40-pin ATA33 cable, one floppy drive cable, and a USB connector support for the rear of the user's casing.
