Installation
Installation of the Chaintech CT-6VJD is relatively simple. In the majority of cases, users will only need to position JP5/JP6 to the Auto setting (1-2), and allow the system to determine the proper FSB setting itself. As for the clock multiplier, this might as well be ignored as an option, as most CPUs come equipped with a multiplier lock in any case. That done, one need only place the board in a case, plug it in, and turn it on.
The software bundle
The installation CD includes the VIA 4-in-1 version 4.28 drivers, drivers for the sound-card, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a digital rendition of the user's manual. The bonus CD contains: Norton Antivirus 2001, Adobe ActiveShare, Imagore, X-Stop, Appio, and Ewalla.
The hardware bundle
The Chaintech CT-6VJD comes with: 1 80-pin ATA66 cable, and a floppy-drive cable.
