The Features (continued)

Additional features that come as standard with the AX6C, include: 4X AGP, an integrated AC"97 sound card, an AMR connector, Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS/2 connectors, USB connectors, RX/TX infrared connectors, start-up from the mouse/keyboard/at a pre-set time, Suspend to RAM, and Power Faliure Recovery. As well, hardware monitoring of fan speeds, and CPU temperature is included as a standard feature in this PC99-compliant motherboard.

Installation

As with all jumperless boards, the AOpen AX6C proves extremely easy to install. Once all the cables have been plugged into their proper places, there remains only to make a quick pass through the BIOS to confirm that the settings are adjusted to your liking.



The software bundle

The installation CD includes: patches for the Intel i820 chipset, Norton Antivirus, Norton Crashguard, hardware monitoring utilities, a copy of the user's manual, a bunch of FAQs, and a document reader.
