Additional features (continued)
Additional features of the AOpen AX64 Pro include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS/2 connectors, 4 USB ports - two of which are located on the back panel, an integrated AC"97 sound-card, Power Failure Recovery, RX/TX connectors for infrared connectivity, and start-up from the keyboard/mouse/or at a pre-set time. As well, hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and voltages is available as a standard feature on this PC99-compliant motherboard. Finally, manual assignment of IRQs is possible with the AX64 Pro.

Installation
Installation of the AX64 Pro is nothing special. Thanks to its jumperless design, there isn't much to do. Simply place the board in its casing, plug it in, turn it on, and make a quick pass through the BIOS to finalize any adjustments.
The software bundle
The installation CD includes: Via 4-in-1 patches, a hardware monitoring utility, a program for flashing the BIOS, Adobe Acrobat Reader, a CD version of the manual, and a bonus package which includes Norton Antivirus, Norton Crashguard, and a very interesting utility called "Product Quality Assurance" which benchmarks your board's components, in order to determine whether it is functioning correctly.
