Installation

Installation of the AV14 is quite simple. Its design makes it possible to get everything up, and running without resorting to playing with jumpers. In short, install the card in a casing, plug everything in, boot-up, and make a quick run through the BIOS to make any necessary adjustments.

The software bundle

The installation CD that accompanies the AV14 includes version 4.20 of the Via 4-in-1 patches, a program for flashing the BIOS, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and an electronic version of the user's manual. A second CD is also included, and contains a free Internet tryout.
