Overall Quality Evaluation
The below evaluation table is showing the strong points and the weak points of the tested motherboard. No need to remember to you that we never buy a motherboard only for its performances. Most of today's motherboards are exhibiting performances very close to each others, so, we need additional information in order to help us distinguish what are the real advantages of a motherboard compared to the others and this is exactly where is coming into help this evaluation table.

Conclusions
What can I say about the A-Trend ATC6240 motherboard. At first sight, I said that this mothrboard was not really designed for Overclocking because of a very limited choice of clock frequencies. However, after I received a message from one of this web site visitors, I found out that a feature in the BIOS is allowing a good choice of FSB frequencies. Therefore, if we combine thie feature with the fact that the processor multiplier lock can be disabled by JP11, we have a much better motherboard for Overclocking than I first said. In my opinion, this motherboard has been designed for those looking for serious products as a Desktop computer for their office as well as Overclokers. The fact that this motherboard can support up to 1Gb of main memory is a good indication of A-Trend engineers goal when they designed this motherboard. I would warmly recommend this motherboard to anyone wishing to built a trustable Desktop computer for office use as it really looks like that this is what it has been designed for.
