Installation
As a result of its not-quite-Jumperless design, installation of the AD70-SR requires fiddling with a few jumpers. First, JP7 must be set to the proper FSB setting. Next, if the CPU to be installed comes without a multiplier lock, Dip-array SW1 should be set to an appropriate setting. Otherwise, all SW1 interuptors should set to "Off", in order to allow the system to determine a proper setting for itself. Once that's done, simply install the necessary components, place the board in a casing, plug-in, boot-up, and drop into the BIOS to make any final adjustments.
The software bundle
The installation CD includes: the VIA 4-in-1 version 4.30 patch, drivers for the sound card, Winbond Hardware Doctor, drivers for the RAID controller, a RAID monitor utility, Microsoft DirectX 7, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and a digital rendition of the user's manual.
The hardware bundle
The DFI AD70-SR comes with: three 80-pin ATA66/100 cables, and one floppy-drive cable.
