Additional features of the Asus A7V333 motherboard include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS2 connectors for connecting mice & keyboards, 2 USB 1.1 ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, Suspend to RAM, Suspend to Disk, RX/TX connectors for infrared, an SMbus connector, a Smart Card Reader connector, an SPDIF connector, and start-up from the mouse, keyboard, or at a pre-set time. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and of voltages is also included as a standard feature of this PC99-compliant motherboard.
Finally, let's not forget that the Asus A7V333 also incorporates an integrated six-channel C-Media CMI 8738 sound-card, Promise Technologies PDC20276 RAID 0-1 controller, an IEEE-1394 "Firewire" chip, and USB 2.0.

Installation
Installation of the Asus A7V333 is quite simple, if you opt to use the BIOS system. To do so, simply set jumper JEN to the "Jumperless" position, install the board in a case, plug-in, boot-up, and drop into the BIOS to make any adjustments.
Software bundle
The installation CD includes the VIA 4.37v patch, drivers for the USB 2.0 controller, drivers for the sound-card, drivers for the RAID controller, Adobe Acrobat Reader, a digital rendition of the user's manual, Asus PC Probe (for monitoring the hardware under Windows), PC Cillin 2000, and Windbond Voice Editor.
Hardware bundle
The Asus A7V333 comes with: one 80-pin ATA100 cable, a floppy-drive cable, a support for the rear panel for mounting the USB ports, a USB 2.0 cable, and an (optional) IEEE-1394 "Firewire" cable.
