Thanks to the Overclocking abilities of the MSI Pro 850 2, we were able to break past 2.0GHz. To do it, it sufficed to use a 133MHz FSB (rather than the conventional 100MHz set by the CPU), and a clock multiplier of 15. We also used a 3:1 memory bus ration rather than 4:1, in order to set the memory to 400MHz. Please note that we didn't even find it necessary to augment the Vcore voltage. We were able to push the CPU to 2.13GHz using a multiplier of 16, but the system became too unstable to boot into Windows. It may have been possible to achieve stability using a multiplier of 15.5X, but that value was not provided as an option on this board.
