Technical details

Plenty of space has been left open around the CPU socket to allow for the installation of the rather large HSF unit usually required by P4 processors.

The memory slots are located far enough to the AGP port thus creating no chance of a retention clip coming into contact with the graphics card.

The voltage regulators are of the triple phase variety.

Most of the power connectors are located between the CPU connector and the memory slots and do not interfere with the CPU ventilation.

Three fan connectors are included, all of which are controlled by the hardware monitoring system.

Hardware monitoring is controlled by the Winbond W83627HF chip.

It's not possible to manually assign IRQs.

The AGP port does not support AGP Pro graphics cards.

A LED diagnostic panel is present on the board itself.

PC-to-PC technology is included, which allows two computers to be networked via their respective USB ports.

Finally, this motherboard also support the PC Alert and Live BIOS functionalities. .
