Additional features

Additional features of the Micro-Star 845 Pro motherboard include: Wake on LAN, Wake on Modem Ring, PS2 connectors for connecting mice & keyboards, 4 USB ports - two of which are located on the back panel, an integrated AC"97 sound-card, Suspend to RAM, RX/TX connectors for infrared, and start-up from the mouse or keyboard. Hardware monitoring of fan speed, CPU temperature, and of voltages is also included as a standard feature of this PC99-compliant motherboard.

Let's also not forget the inclusion of a LED diagnostic panel, as well as Live BIOS, PC Alert, and PC-2-PC technologies.

Installation

Installation of the 845 Pro is pretty simple, due to its jumperless design. Basicly, users should put it in a case, plug-in, and boot-up.

The software bundle

The installation CD includes the Intel .inf version 3.10.1011 patchs, drivers for the sound-card, DirectX 8.0a, Adobe Acrobat Reader, a digital rendition of the user's manual, Trend PC-cillin 2000, MSI Live BIOS, Media Ring, Microsoft DirectX 8.0a, and several other utilities.

The hardware bundle

The Micro-Star 845 Pro comes with: one 80-pin AT100 cable, one floppy-drive cable, and connectors for PC-2-PC networking.
